The founder and president has spent nearly all of his career with maintenance management, particularly with computerized maintenance management solutions and mobile solutions. He has been teaching and consulting for many years and has won many national awards.
The vice president of technology has spent nearly all his career designing and developing computerized maintenance management solutions as well as CMMS mobile. Together they had the first CMMS mobile
with bar-coding capabilities back in 1986.
Kris Bagadia is the founder and president of PEAK Industrial Solutions. Beginning his career as a maintenance supervisor and subsequently being promoted to project manager, Kris has experience in all facets of the maintenance-management process. Building on experience he garnered from a variety of industries, he developed his first computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) software for the PC in the early 1980s, a product that up until that point had been absent from the PC. He has stayed at the forefront of CMMS/Enterprise-Asset-Management (EAM) technology for over 25 years. Kris and his company have pioneered innovations in barcode technology, CMMS mobile, and EAM. He has also won many nationally recognized awards for products that he has developed. In addition to his expertise on CMMS, Kris has extensive consulting experience with maintenance work process flow improvement, planning and scheduling, preventive maintenance optimization, master data services, and storeroom optimization. He has authored several books on computerized maintenance, has been a contributing author for several handbooks, and has written numerous articles in technical and trade journals. Kris is also an accomplished speaker who makes complex, technical information easy to understand and apply, and he has conducted hundreds of seminars on maintenance management since 1992..
Kris holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s of Science in Industrial Engineering. He is certified as a Professional Engineer (PE) and a Certified Plant Engineer (CPE).
Wayne is a senior consultant with PEAK. As a leader of maintenance, Wayne has implemented many programs, including reliability and condition-monitoring programs, extensive training programs, an apprentice program, storeroom organization efforts, predictive and preventive maintenance, computerized maintenance management systems, and a Total-Productive-Maintenance program. Wayne is an accomplished speaker, has contributed to numerous publications, and has published several articles on maintenance.
Wayne holds a Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s of Science in Business Administration. He is certified as a Professional Engineer (PE) and a Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP).
Ron J. Kossik
Vice President of Technology
Ron J. Kossik, the Vice President of Technology at PEAK, has spent nearly his entire career designing and developing both computerized-maintenance-management and CMMS-mobile solutions. Together with the company president, he helped develop the first CMMS mobile with bar-coding capabilities back in 1986.
Ron holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering.
"Product of the Year" competition is held by Plant Engineering Magazine every year. Participating companies submit their new products/ideas introduced by them the previous year. The product has to be new to the world market, and be useful in the plant engineering field. The contest features some of the most innovative ideas in the various categories such as material handling, HVAC, power transmission, plant engineering software etc.
All the entries are evaluated by a panel of judges (people well recognized in the field).
The panel chooses finalists in each category. The finalists are showcased in the November issue of Plant Engineering Magazine. The readers of the magazine then vote for the top three in each category.
